  10. Well, I currently have a 7mhz amiga 2000 with os3.1 5 megs of ram a hard drive and that's about it.  With my current system i feel like i am not able to use the powerful programs that are available for the amiga right now.

The problem that i have with my amiga 2000 is that even though it is one of the latest revisions (6.2) it is about 6 years old.  If i not to upgrade my computer to say a 68040 processor and add a 24bit graphics card and then buy a flickerfixer and then buy a multiscan monitor it will nearly cost $1500 or over.  I not want to spend this much just to upgrade a 6 year old amiga which juust might die anyday now.

What i need from you guys is a little advice neither buying a 4000 or a 4000T is a wise decision.  I would like to buying the top of the line so that for awhile i won't have to worry about my system not having enough power or ram to run software as well as other things.  How much better is the aga chipset for the ecs chipset?  How faster is the zorro III for the Zorro II slots?  What other advantages does the 4000 have over the 2000 and over IBM Pentiums and so forth?
